Staff Picks: Lauren & The Lovely Warhol Lithograph

NVE Ware-House
August 22, 2026 by Lulu Apmann

Lauren’s staff pick is a blooming piece of pop art! This 1993 Andy Warhol Foundation floral lithograph brings bold color and iconic pop-art style together in one eye-catching piece. A timeless statement for any collector or lover of vintage art!

This week’s featured piece is a striking 1993 Andy Warhol Foundation floral lithograph, featuring Warhol’s signature flowers, which were first revealed at the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York City in 1964; where every piece in the floral collection sold! Still to this day, Warhol’s flowers remain one of his most iconic and vivid designs. With the flower’s vibrant colors and graphic composition, this lithograph brings the unmistakable energy of Warhol’s work into any space.

At the center of this piece are Warhol’s signature flowers, brought to life through expressive shapes and bold colors. The lithograph is a perfect example of what Warhol did best; taking something familiar and turning it into something completely unforgettable. He made an ordinary subject, like flowers, seem extraordinary. The result being a statement pop-art piece that feels both classic and effortlessly modern.

This floral lithograph is a wonderful example of Warhol’s ability to bridge the worlds of fine art, fashion, and pop-culture. His floral works have remained highly recognizable and collectible, admired for their striking visual impact and their connection to one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

Here are some words from Lauren on why she picked this piece as her Staff Pick:

“I picked this piece because I have been a Warhol fan for forever. Growing up in the 90s in New York, the eye-catching images and wild superstar coterie that inhabited his pop-art pieces spoke to me, and the appealing iconography of glossy consumer culture and celebrity really struck a chord with me. As a child, Andy was often sick, he suffered from St. Vitus’ Dance, so he missed a lot of school and spent time at home with his mother reading glossy magazines and watching television. I related to him as a lonely kid, so the idea of transforming a shy nobody into an artist of renown, that was seen at every A-list party, was magic to me. Warhol work is far out of my reach these days, but I still have a soft spot in my cold, dark heart for the king of pop (art).”
